We went to a flea market and I showed Ryan a display of vintage jewelry. I especially liked the spoon rings! We left the stand and Ryan told me that he thought he could make me one.
Here is the spoon ring he made. He made one for a coworker of mine who also loves spoon rings!
We found iced tea spoons from an antique store in Sunbury. I kind of forgot we bought them until Christmas morning when I found a necklace in my stocking that Ryan made for me from one of the spoons.
This summer we went to Mackinac Island in Michigan. There was a shop that I loved! It had initials made from books. I always want to buy things on the spot but Ryan will say that he can make that. So for Christmas I got our initial made from an old book.
We have enjoyed the holidays so much this year. It has been so wonderful to slow down and spend time with our families and friends.
